Linocuts for spring.

I have long admired Angie Lewins work and have bought many of her cards from Art Angels but covert one of her original prints and now I have also spotted these gorgeous cushions.

At the moment I am loving.......

HASTINGS........Some friends of ours have moved down there and a few weeks ago we went for a visit (just before the very big storms). We had such a lovely time and the shops are gorgeous. We went around various retro junk shops and some a great shop called Made in Hastings. This picture was while we were out and about.

I also love this picture of our friends fireplace. Mine always looks such a mess!!!

Crafty bits

Making new things at the moment - had a mad afternoon making badges for everyone at work from vintage fabrics. I love them and have made loads and have made some for a friends birthday as well.
I have added some more to the gallery. Take a peek. We have decided to have a 'Badge and Bitch' rather than a 'Stitch and Bitch' this month!!

Swedish inspiration

We had a fantastic time in Sweden and I was very inspired when we went to Gustavsberg and saw the Stig Lindberg exhibition. Some really gorgeous pieces. My collection of vases is growing but I still havent managed to add a piece of his art work.

Stitching with the family

Well it's all very exciting at the moment - I am to be a bridesmaid for the first time ever and I am making my own dress. Of course this is with te help of the family and we are having a very fun time cutting everything out. Photos to follow!!! Wish me luck.

Catch Up

I have not posted anything for ages. We have been away in Spain and also doing far too much DIY. We have transformed the garden and had new windows. Now we need to start decorating - will it never end. One of the really nice things we did a few months ago was a Baby shower with lots of lovely made items. It was for our friend Lorraine who since then has had the most gorgeous baby boy.
